Changan Lumin Launched in Nepal at Rs 22.99 Lakh

Changan Nepal has officially launched the Lumin, a compact electric car, in Nepal at a  price of Rs 22.99 lakh. The Lumin is designed as a city-friendly EV offering practical features for urban commuting and daily use.

The vehicle is powered by a 35 kW electric motor producing 83 Nm of torque, paired with a 28.08 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. It offers a NEDC-certified range of 301 km on a single charge and supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged in approximately 35 minutes.

Inside, the Lumin features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 7-inch LCD display, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Convenience features include keyless entry, push-button start, 50:50 foldable rear seats, Bluetooth connectivity, and a multifunctional steering wheel. Safety is addressed through front airbags, tire pressure monitoring, ESP, ABS, EBD, HHC, rear camera, and rear parking sensors.

The car measures 3,270 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,590 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,980 mmand a kerb weight of 925 kg. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and is available in five exterior colors.
